MRED'S Tuesday Tip Sheet
Quick Tips to Help You to a Winning Week!
Hot Tip #1 - Don't want to pay a fine? We have a foolproof way to avoid paying any fines - don't break our rules. A great way to play by the rules is to become familiar with MRED's complete Rules and Regulations Manual, which is posted in connectMLS™. Just click the Forms tab, then the "MRED Listing Forms, etc." link and you will find it there as the very first document!
Hot Tip #2 - Friendly Reminder - when a property goes under contract but is a short sale waiting for the sellers' bank or lender approval, you need to mark the property as CTG - SS in connectMLS™. Once the sellers' bank or lender approves, it becomes CTG - FIN if the buyers haven't gotten approval on their financing, or PEND if all contingencies are resolved and you're just waiting to close. BTW - click HERE to link to a list of all of our searchable listing statuses/contingencies and their definitions.
Hot Tip #3 - What is the difference between a "Walkout Basement" and an "Exterior Access" in connectMLS™? A walkout basement is where you walk out to grade level (no steps up); with an exterior access there are steps to walk up to grade level. OK, maybe not a Hot Tip, but useful information . . .
Hot Tip #4 - How can I stay up to date with MRED News, including changes to connectMLS™ and news products and services? By reading the MRED Communications vehicles sent your way, including Ask MrEd on Mondays, our Tuesday Tip Sheet on (surprise!) Tuesdays and the Weekend Watch on Thursdays. We also post useful information on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+. We are ramping up our more in-depth contributions to our monthly eNewsletter, The Pulse, and the MRED Blog, and we are putting a new face and organization on mredllc.com. So stay tuned!
