Quick Tips to Help You to a Winning Week!

Hot Tip #1 - When inputting listings in Chicago into connectMLS™ with a numbered street, be sure to add the correct street name (i.e. 10th, 23rd, 1st, etc.).  connectMLS™ has programming that checks and matches the exact name of streets to area numbers in Chicago, and if you incorrectly enter the name it will be tagged to the Compliance Department as an area/address mismatch.  What is the correct way to spell the street name?  Street signs, postal address are quick easy ways to determine this.
 
Hot Tip #2 -  Please check to make sure you are using the most recent Status Change form.  The most recent form is dated 6/23/2010, and can be found in connectMLS™ by clicking on the Forms tab, then the "MRED Listing Forms, etc." link.  It is form #20 in the list.  Please dispose of any earlier versions.  Using the up to date form ensures your changes will be made promptly.  Don't forget to have your Broker or Manager sign the completely filled out document so it isn't returned to you, delaying any changes.  MRED no longer requires the seller's signature.
   
Hot Tip #3 - MRED does not change membership information or handle billing questions.  If you have billing questions or your MLS access has been deactivated, please contact your local Association or Board.
