Hot Tip #1 - Do you make sure each of your listings has its proper status in connectMLS™? Do you have listings that show as Active - Contingent that are really Pending? Remember, you must update your listing to Pending status from Contingent once all contingencies have been met and you are just waiting to close. Hot Tip #2 - Please remember that your listing's Remarks section in connectMLS™is for a description of the property. It is not for other items that have their own fields (like compensation information or showing instructions). That is valuable space you have available to you in Remarks - don't use it for items intended to be in their own or other fields in the listing.
Hot Tip #3 - Check your listings to make sure the information in all fields is consistent. For example, we occasionally run across listings where the "Pets Allowed" field says "Y" but the "Pet Information" field says "No Pets". Inconsistencies not only cause confusion but don't help you look your best to your clients and other agents.
