Hot Tip #2 - Please don't let your listings get overlooked because of inaccurate or incomplete information.
Please double check everything you enter into connectMLS™.
Bonus answer: There are fields in connectMLS™ that have a place to manually type free form information along with a drop down list. These fields have both as there are occasions when the information you need to enter doesn't match anything in the drop down list. PLEASE check the drop down list first, and use an entry from there if you find what you need. This insures accuracy and your property being found in searches.
Hot Tip #3 - Please make sure if you enter acreage in your listing that it is the correct acreage.
Our Compliance Department is running across a lot of listings that have the square footage rather than the acreage in the Acreage field. This wastes the time of agents who are looking for large parcels and have to weed out listings with the incorrect information in that field.
Hot Tip #4 - Please use the subdivision field.
Although it is not a required field (not all properties are in a subdivision), a lot of agents search listings by subdivision when appropriate. Many times it is a great marketing point to emphasize the subdivision and its benefits. So if your listing is in a subdivision, include that when entering it in connectMLS™ and we'll bet other agents will find the property easier and more often.
