Quick Tips to Help You to a Winning Week!
Hot Tip #1 
RULES CHANGE ALERT:  When your listing is in a contingent status and the owner no longer wants it to be shown, please leave the status as contingent but put in the Agent Remarks field "no more showings".
The seller is the boss, and if he or she says "no more showings" once the property is under contract, that's cool.  In trying to find a way to communicate this to everybody, we realized that a different status touches too many other things within the system, like statistics.  So during the contingency period, don't touch the status.  Instead, just let everybody know in the Agent Remarks field that your people don't want to show it any more. 
To change Agent Remarks, log into connectMLS™, click on the Listings tab and then the Edit Listing Details link.  Enter your Listing Number and click Submit.  Agent Remarks can be found under the Office/Sales tab.
Hot Tip #2    
The Sold Price and Closed Date you enter must match what is on the closing statement (RESPA or HUD-1).
Since the data on the RESPA/HUD-1 includes the actual sold price and actual date the transaction closed, we can't imagine why the information input into connectMLS™ would be different.  We hate to beat a dead horse, but accurate and correct information are required.  By the way, the more precise and accurate the information in the system, the better for everybody.
Hot Tip #3
Before making your listing active from a draft in connectMLS™, always remember to check to make sure the list date is correct.
Easy to overlook this.  You can edit your list date in the "edit basic listing information" page.
