Quick Tips to Help You to a Winning Week!
Hot Tip #1
Set up a Google Alert for the address of each of your listings
In fact, this is something you should do whenever you take a listing. It's an easy and effective way for you to be notified of wherever your listing is showing up in the Internet world. It's also a great way to find out fast if it's showing up somewhere it is not supposed to.
Hot Tip #2
Here's how to set up a Google Alert
Click HERE. Put the address of the property (or anything you would like to be notified of) in the "Search query" box. Fill out the rest of the boxes to control how often you are notified, etc.
Hot Tip #3
Portray yourself as the expert in your marketplace
Isn't it most important for YOU to be the expert - not MRED, Zillow, Trulia, or realtor.com, etc.? Here are a couple of ways for YOU to be the expert:
- Log in to MREDLLC.com and click on the Statistics tab. Bone up on pre-packaged statistics made for you to get smart about your market or to share with your clients.
- Log in to connectMLS™ and click on the Tools, Resources & Links icon () located in the upper right hand corner. There are two links in here with FREE resources that can help you:
- The Thing - the interactive online market analytics tool. Get easy to understand charts, graphs, and housing trends for specific areas in just a couple clicks.
- Agent Metrics - the deeper dive, use this to create effective marketing materials on Market Share and Market Dynamics. You will need to download this program to your computer.
Hot Tip #4
Own up to your mistakes and fix them ASAP
We forgot to include the number for Sentrilock in our "Who should I call" list included in Ask MrEd yesterday. Click HERE for the updated "Who should I call" list...
