How about that MREDpalooza?
Late last year, when the idea first came up to do a major trade show/tech expo event, I had to admit that some were not sure we could pull off an expansive undertaking. I was sure, having done similar events in the past and knowing the high caliber staff we have, and my confidence in them.
We ended up with over 4,300 attendees, and those who were there can tell you that MREDpalooza was packed and the classes overflowing. We always make it a point to learn from our experiences, so we took away some lessons from the first MREDpalooza that we will most certainly use to have an even bigger and better event the next time around.
It was "all hands on deck", i.e. everybody on staff participated and contributed to the effort, but I would be remiss if I did not point out the extra efforts of:
- My Executive Assistant, Gayle Ludemann, who was the organizing and administrative force behind the event, and
- Melissa Swanner, our Communications Coordinator, who carried out the creation and delivery of the great Superhero theme in our communications that resonated so well with our customers.
We'll let you know when and where the next MREDpalooza will be taking place. But we need some rest first :)
